The Horizon 642B Centrifuge feature a swing–out horizontal rotor design incorporating a unique test tube holder that produces horizontally separated samples, while requiring no additional parts. The centrifuge's fixed-angle rotor for spinning tubes up to 125mm in length. The Horizon 642B provide a Cool–Flow air flow design that prevents overheating of samples and heavy gauge steel construction for safety and durability. The 642B centrifuge also features a lid safety switch that prevents the centrifuge from operating unless the lid is closed and latched, a removable rotor for easy cleaning, and brushless permanent split capacitor AC motor.
