New MIDMARK M11

Last week, we completed the delivery, installation, and preventive maintenance of three new Midmark M11 units and removed three older units from the office. This is an exciting upgrade for the practice.

Midmark® Steam Sterilizers are designed with intuitive instructions to simplify compliance, cycle operation, and device care documentation. Transcription and documentation errors can account for up to 56 percent of sterilization errors. Automated mechanical monitoring and chemical indicator reporting can save time, help simplify staff training, and give staff confidence when processing instruments.

Intuitive User Interface
The M11 features a clear, fingerprint-resistant 5-inch touchscreen. Staff can navigate cycle setup and other processes while wearing gloves. Users can choose between light or dark screen styles.

Streamlined Compliance Recordkeeping
Midmark sterilizers provide device reminders and notifications, user authentication, unlimited storage of routine care events for the life of the sterilizer, and automated cycle recordkeeping. This helps the office stay audit-ready.

Durability
Midmark sterilizers are designed for durability, with a completely reengineered chamber that increases device life to 25,000 cycles. This can reduce the frequency of required maintenance by users and certified technicians by more than half.
