The Horizon 653V is a low-cost, variable speed, horizontal centrifuge. The key to the Horizon centrifuge is its patented rotor design which allows the tube holders to swing to a horizontal position without the use of trunnion rings. The advantage of this centrifuge system is lower cost and extreme ease-of-use.
This Horizon 653V is controlled by an electronic timer for precise spin times settable from 1 to 30 minutes. The current status of the machine (running, latched, unlocked) is displayed on the control panel. Samples may be safely viewed through the transparent lid. For additional safety, entry into the rotor chamber is restricted until the rotor has come to a stop. A cycle counter has been included to monitor machine usage for routine maintenance scheduling. UL/CSA compliant.

The 653V centrifuges also come with a MECHANICAL CYCLE COUNTER.

AUTOMATIC LID LOCKING: Centrifuge will not run with lid open; lid cannot be opened while samples are spinning. POSITIVE LID LATCHING: Firm mechanical latching of the lid prevents the escape of glass or debris of the centrifuge if there is a breakage or an accident. INDICATOR LIGHTS: Control panel lights inform operator of the centrifuge status, (running, latched, unlocked). ALL STEEL CONSTRUCTION: For strength and durability.
